Club news
K6PAC/R to be on the air soon
We now have a key to the closet at the Lincoln Arts building. Very
soon we will be putting together a work party to rearrange stuff
in the closet and move the repeater rack into the building. Some
research needs to be done on routing the antenna cable from the
mast to the repeater closet. We are getting very close to getting
our repeater on the air.
2009 Field Day pictures online
Steve, N6HTV, took many pictures at our 2009 Field Day event in
conjunction with the River City ARCS. See
www.sotoole.com/gallery/albums/fd09/.
If you have some pictures to share, send them to
KT6Z and we will put them online.
Still need a club secretary
We are looking to fill the position of club secretary as soon as
possible. If you are willing to get more involved in WPARC, now is
your chance. Contact Steve, KT6Z at
kt6z@arrl.net.
Year end drawing prize announced
At the last general meeting, Steve, KT6Z, anounced that the year
end drawing prize will be a Yaesu FT2800M 2-meter radio. He also
said that if enough tickets were sold between now and then, there
would be a second prize, possibly another FT2800M.
Special Service Club
Jey, KQ6DK, and Bruce, W1BWG, have volunteered to investigate
the necessary details for WPARC to become an ARRL Special Service
Club.
If you would like to help out in this effort, send an email to
KT6Z.
