Club newsPosted 07/25/10 K6PAC/R PL has been changedIn an effort to mitigate interference problems with W6TI/R in the bay area, the PL tone for our repeater has been changed to 179.9. Please make the required change in your two-meter radios. Haar resigns as club president; Machado electedAt our July 20 meeting, Jerry Haar, N6JKH, resigned as club president for personal reasons. Jeremy Machado, KJ6CQT, was elected to fill out his term. Don O'Bella, KJ6HZN, has volunteered to take the lead for our club picnic, which has been scheduled for October 23. Don will be contacting members for help as we get closer to that date. Jim Feldman, W6JMF, has taken responsibility for the Christmas Party. More details as things develop. WPARC Field Day resultsThe logs from our first Field Day have been tallied. We tallied 209 contacts for a total of 1810 points.
